The City of Cambridge received the Downtown Revitalization Grant from the Ohio Development Services Agency. We were among a very select few in the State of Ohio, to receive this grant for our Downtown Historic District in the amount of $300,000.
Kim Haught, Director of the Economic & Community Development Dept for the City of Cambridge, is seeking applicants from our Historic Downtown to participate in this program. Cambridge Main Street members will receive special consideration. The City of Cambridge is prepared to grant up to $20,000 in match money (with the business or building owner(s) placing their half first) towards the improvements.
Improvements include: Facade, roof replacement, HVAC system repair or replacement, brick and mortar repair, window repair or replacement, electrical upgrades, plumbing upgrades, awning installation, entry repair, ADA compliance, and signage or fire protection.
Grant money commitments are on a first come-first serve basis. Hurry in to see Kim Haught or Colleen Siadik at 1131 Steubenville Avenue, Cambridge, OH 43725 or call (740) 439-5491 for details.
