Civil Service Commission

The Cambridge Area Civil Service Commission is a three-member board, appointed by Mayor Tom Orr with each member serving a three-year term. Questions? Please contact Melissa Chambers, Secretary of the Civil Service Commission, at (740) 439-1240. The Commission meets in a public forum and is responsible for:

      •  Overseeing rules and policies
      •  Administering classified service exams
      •  Creating eligibility lists
      •  Maintaining records

Most meetings are held in Council Chambers of the City Administration Building (City Hall).
